Gonnie Zur is an Israeli-American filmmaker and photographer based in Brooklyn, NY.

Her work focuses on women’s organic experiences and explores life for its natural unraveling. Much like her photography, Gonnie’s narrative films are deeply rooted in portraiture and examine the human condition through a candid, ephemeral lens.

Gonnie’s latest short film, LEMONS, world-premiered at the Oscar© qualifying Palm Springs International ShortFest 2022, and has since screened at HollyShorts Film Festival, New York Shorts International Film Festival, and Bushwick Film Festival. It has also won the Grand Prize at the 28th DGA Student Film Awards.

Currently an M.F.A candidate at NYU Tisch School of the Arts
